Who was Eric Bergeson? And what was the cause of his death?

Eric Bergeson is a business owner of Bergeson Nursery. He had been doing this business for the last two decades. He did not do many things apart from spending time in his nursery.
Melvin Bergeson, his grandfather, began the business empire in 1936 in Fertile, Minnesota. Since the family has been in the gardening business, they have passed along gardening knowledge from generation to generation; Eric even wrote a best-selling gardening book that has sold over 15,000 copies. In addition, he has written many books, such as Successful Gardening on the Northern Prairie, Let’s Grow on the Northern Prairie, A Treasury of Old Souls.
He also hosts the cable television show Little Garden on the Prairie and writes a book.

He went to Fertile-Beltrami Public Schools. He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in history. Bergeson Nursery was acquired by Eric from his parents, Paul and Glenda Bergeson, in 1997. Eric has published weekly columns for 22 regional newspapers for the past fifteen years.

Eric is the author of eight books. The Minneapolis Star Tribune named his fourth book, Pirates of the Prairie, a “Minnesota Historical and Cultural Treasure.”

Eric presented the debut season of the cable show Little Garden on the Prairie, which consisted of thirteen episodes. The rerun lasted several years.
Eric presented to hundreds of organisations regarding gardening throughout his career as a nursery owner.
Eric sold the nursery to his brother Joe and his wife Kay in 2014. He constantly talks and publishes books like Successful Gardening in the Northern Prairie and Let’s Grow in the Northern Prairie, published in 2017 and 2020.
Eric and Lance Thorn live in Waterlare, Minnesota, and Tucson, Arizona.
