According to reports, Stanley Lambert was arrested after he crashed his vehicle into a woman on Saturday while he was intoxicated. Police stated that the defensive lineman was behind the wheel of the car that unfortunately killed Norah Bruther. The 23-year-old woman was reportedly trying to cross the Camelback Road in Scottsdale around 1:38 AM. The investigation was soon started by the officials of the case and after a thorough investigation, they ended up getting to Lambert. Reports state that the lineman was detained and was charged with a count of DUI – impaired to the slightest degree and DUI with a blood alcohol content of 0.08%.
A spokesman for Arizona State University said the university was aware of the incident. After the shocking and unfortunate incident, Sun Devil Athletics issued a statement following the arrest of Stanley. They stated that they are aware of the tragic circumstances involving one of their student athletes over the weekend and added that they share their sincere thoughts with the family and friends of all involved.
