On Monday, the wife of former South Africa head coach Peter de Villiers drowned in a pool. She was discovered dead. Her body was recovered in the pool by a relative. While visiting family in Fairview, Gqeberha, she drowned in the water. Peter de Villiers is shocked by his wife’s death, especially after losing his daughter to cancer three years ago. Emergency personnel declared his wife dead on the spot, according to reports.

Peter De Villiers was the very first black coach in the Springboks’ history. He was at Paarl at the time of the incident. However, he remained silent on the subject. According to sources, he was “unable to talk about what had happened,” according to sources.

“The deceased is from Paarl but was visiting family in Gqeberha,” said Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, a police spokesperson.

“She was found in the pool by a family member. The circumstances surrounding the drowning is under investigation.”

He hasn’t recovered from the death of his daughter Odille Monk, who died of cancer in December of this year. In 2018, she was diagnosed with lymphoma and died in December.
